There are several ways and places to find products to promote easily and quickly. Affiliate programs, also called associate programs or referral programs, are the easiest and fastest way to find products and start marketing.

What are affiliate programs?

Here are a few definitions:

• Affiliate Programs, are arrangements in which an online merchant pays affiliates a commission to send them traffic or sales.
• A program that allows other companies, or individuals, to market a company's products or services for a commission fee per item sold.
• Affiliate marketing is a method of promoting websites in which an affiliate is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, and/or sale provided through his/her efforts.

Basically, as an affiliate, I build a webpage, website or blog where I post links to a merchants site with whom I have an affiliate agreement with. People then come to my site and click on a link which takes them to the merchants site. If they buy something, I receive a commission.

The great thing is that I am able to sell other peoples/companies products without having to deal with the production, shipping, customer complaints or anything else associated with the product.
