Godaddy
I use Godaddy.com when purchasing most of my domains. Their
interface is so easy to use and understand. You can view all of
your domains within the same interface and make necessary changes to one or many domains
very easily and quickly... either all at once or separately.
Their support is also very good. You can reach them by phone or
email anytime. Prices are also very cheap and they often offer
specials to get domains as low as 2 or 3 dollars each. The average
it seems is about $7.95/domain name.
Although I purchase my domains from Godaddy, I have never used
their hosting service. I recommend 1&1 hosting below for that.

Hosting
1&1 Hosting is another domain service that I recommend.
Support is very good and they domains usually go for $5.95 each. I
also recommend their webhosting service as well.
If you would like to buy your domain and get your hosting from
the same place then 1&1 hosting is a great place to do so. Web
hosting packages begin at only $2.99/month which is about as cheap as
you can get. At least it is for a professional webhosting service
where you can expect your site to stay up and running at all
times.
