You know, its still hard to believe that I used to hang wallpaper everyday for over 15 years. Actually I started going with my dad helping him in the summer when school was out and on vacation holidays from the time I was 12, so that makes it more like 20 years.

After graduating high school I went to work with my dad full time. And at age 24 I bought the business from him. I learned the trade well and did pretty good financially. At least that was the best money I had ever made so I thought that was pretty good.

The biggest drawback was that I didn't have any employees, it was just me. So if I didn't work, I didn't make any money. If I took a vacation, I didn't make any money. If I was sick, I didn't make any money.

But I did ok. I for sure wasn't getting rich or anything like that but I was doing ok. I had a nice small house for my wife, myself, and our two children and we was able to do most of the things that we wanted.

Fast forward 8 years to age 33 and I now have five children. My income hadn't gone up hardly any at all. I still lived in the same small house and still did the same thing everyday.

I would get up around 6:30 AM every morning, get to work by 7:30 or 8:00, work until lunch and go eat, come back and work until 4:00, 5:00, 6:00 or whenever and go home. I did that day after day, week after week, year after year.

I longed for more time with my family. But if I took the time off as I said before, I didn't make any money. I felt trapped. I remember times I would be going to work and thinking how pretty of a day it was and thinking that it would be nice to take the day off but I couldn't because I knew if I did I wouldn't have the money that I needed.

Now I even admit that I still had it pretty good. I was still decent money, I was my own boss and made my own hours. But I knew there had to be more.

I did all I could to try and make more money to just pay the bills it seemed. I knew there had to be more. I wanted more for my family. 

For example, my two oldest boys always wanted dirt bikes so my dad bought them their first bikes when they were 5 and 7. But as kids do, they quickly out grew them as well as trashed them because they jumped them, crashed them, broke the frames, etc, etc, etc...

So I got a newspaper route for extra money. I got up every morning, 7 days a week at 3:00AM and delivered newspapers until about 5:30AM in addition to hanging wallpaper in order to get the additional money for me to buy them both another dirt. They weren't new dirt bikes either, they were used, but the boys were happy.

My oldest daughter loves cheerleading and it seemed that they were always asking for more money for something. At the time my other two children weren't even costing me much money it seemed because they were still so small, but I felt like I was going under.

How was I going to be able to send them all to college? My oldest two boys wanted to race motocross... that could never happen. That's the kind of things that I thought about.

I was COMPLETELY FRUSTRATED!

I told my wife more than once that I felt like I worked all week just to fall behind more and more. We didn't spend extra money. We hardly out out. My wife didn't shop... and she loves to shop.

My biggest prayer was I wanted to be debt free, but included in that prayer was I wanted to have more than enough for me and my family and to help others in need. I always hated to see others in need financially and for me not to be able to help them simply because I just didn't have the finances to do so.

Well, my wife helped me run the paper route for the last 6 months I think. We kept the paper route for a year and a half before I just felt like I had just had enough of it. I gave my 30 days notice and finished right before thanksgiving in November of 2002. The paper route really was helping because we got a lot of bills caught up but 3:00 AM was getting really old.

My wife kept asking me what were we going to do because the extra income was nice and helpful. So two days after quitting the paper route I told her that I would go back and ask if we could keep it but if he said no for any reason, then there was something better waiting for us. Well as you may have guessed, he told me that he had already promised the route to someone else.

Then a month later an old friend of mine that I hadn't seen in maybe 15 years just dropped by and told me about his internet business. He told me that he wouldn't tell anyone how to do it, but that he would tell me everything if I could come to his home for a few days where he could explain it all to me.

It was mid December 2002 when he dropped by. I talked to my wife about it and called him back a couple of days later and made plans to go to his home in Nashville TN for a few days and learn this. I figured why not. My wallpaper business was always slow after Christmas and most of January.

So January 1, 2003 I went to Nashville hoping for something better. There my friend introduced me to internet marketing with affiliate programs. He taught me how to use Microsoft Frontpage to build a webpage, how to market the affiliate programs by finding keywords and using search engines like Yahoo, Google, MSN and others to market my product.

I stayed at his home for three days and took a lot of notes. Everything I did I wrote in that notebook so that when I got back home to South Carolina, approximately 5 hours away, I could look back at my notes and try to get this accomplished.

When I got back home I immediately went to work. My first webpage took me all day from probably 7 in the morning to 7 or 8 at night to complete. Man I was thrilled. Now that I look back that was one ugly page. But hey, it worked.

I would go hang wallpaper all day, come home around 4 or 5 PM and immediately start working on my new internet business and usually work until midnight or so.

I even wrote it down on a piece of paper and had it in my wallet. Everyday I would read it out loud to myself at least once or more. Of course I didn't have to read it after awhile because I had it memorized. But I would always say it out loud at least once or more a day.

Well to make this long story short, in Mid December 2003, just short of a year, I quit hanging wallpaper and have never missed it one bit.

Now lets fast forward to 2006. I am now 37 years old and make WAY MORE money than I ever did before. 

• Moreover, when I want to take the day off  - I still make money.


• When I go on vacation - I still make money. 


• If I'm sick and don't work  - I make money. 


• I even make money while I'm asleep.

Also, my two oldest boys are getting to achieve their dreams of racing motocross because I can afford it. As a matter of fact they have two new dirt bikes each, their own practice track, an 8x20 trailer for hauling their dirt bikes, a motor home to travel the country in and all the necessities that it takes to do this kind of thing.

My other boy could care less about sports or motorcycles but he does love golf carts and four wheelers. So he has a golf cart and a four wheeler that he rides nearly everyday.

My two girls love cheerleading. So they have taken private lessons as well as the normal cheerleading sessions with their team. My smallest girl also says she wants to try gymnastics of which I'm sure we will be doing soon.

And I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to be out from under debt. Bills are no longer a worry. And if I want to just take the day off because of any reason, I do. Many times in the summer my kids may ask me to go swimming so I just stop working and go swimming all day.

For years we have always went on vacation with my parents and my sister and her family. But for the last two or three years my family also goes on another separate vacation just by ourselves.

We now have hospitalization insurance which I could never afford before. We have a retirement plan in action. If my children want to go to college I can afford it. And oh yeah, our house is plenty big enough for the seven of us. The list just goes on and on.

And I'm here to tell you that if I can do it - THEN YOU CAN DO IT!

I'm not going to tell you that it was so very easy like many others might... but it is very possible.

The thing is, I know it can be done because I did it. Just an ordinary wallpaper hanger with no computer background. Just a dream and a goal. I now set new goals at the beginning of every year and I expect to reach those goals.

... and you should too!

So why would I share what I know with others?

So you're probably asking why I would share this with others. The reason is I have people constantly asking me if I would show them what it is that I do. 

I really just don't have the time to spend with others one on one to teach them all of the aspects of what it is that I do. So I figure the easiest way for me to show them or you is through building a site around that.

The way I look at it is there's plenty enough business for all of us anyway. 

After all, I've found that most people will do nothing with the information that you give them. It seems that most people just want something for nothing. I know this for a fact because I have spent a lot of time showing other people how to do this and they have done nothing with it.

At least this way I don't have to spend hours or days with one person showing them. It's then up to the person themselves. And it's the people that act on it that will become a success. The success that one can have in this business is only limited by that person themselves.
